Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

After seeing all those Britishisms in American SPN stories, I tried a Who crossover and a Harry Potter fusion and...REALLY? Have you any memory of either work? "Blimey" does not make Dean British. Better off pretending it's not English than that Mary Poppins chimney sweep bullshit.

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Well, a Teen Wolf fanfic author (otter) has gotten me to draw fanart for the first time since the old Stargate: Atlantis days. Here's The Wolves and the Bees, which I just finished tonight.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Er.....this may be because I don't watch TW, but the middle guy looks an awful lot like Sheldon Cooper to me. The art's good, but that kind of jumped out.

Here's a photo of the actor who plays the character in question: [link]

Because books.

I watch Big Bang, too, and I don't think it looks anything like Sheldon, honestly. It really does look exactly like the Teen Wolf character.

I'm really trying to see the Sheldon in that, but maybe I'm not familiar enough with him. I'd never not know that was Stiles. Even without the other characters.

Well, Parsons does have ultra-short hair and tends to wear the same sorts of shirts as O'Brien when in character. I don't think of them as having similar facial features though.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I see a little bit in the facial expression, but not in the actual features.

I guess, if your picture had a lot of shirt in it, maybe. As far as Google told me, Sheldon has a receding hairline with a mini-fringe, but hey. My eyes aren't the sharpest these days.

New Star Wars novel by Martha Wells looks entirely awesomely badass. I approve.
