Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know where 221B is, but I don't know what one is. Help?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It's a particular-to-Holmes-fandom variation on the drabble. 221 words, final word has to start with B.

Because books.

That's so cool! Now I want a SPN thing like that.

No. Why did I come to mind?

It struck me as being Stiles-centric in a good way, and I thought he was your favorite character on the show.

He is, and thanks for thinking of me, but Sterek is anathema for me. I don't see the subtext, and so far Derek is an emotionally abusive not that bright guy who's exceeding his britches.

Even if I could see the subtext, the author would have to do much work to redeem Derek before I'd be feeling the relationship, and the impression I got from the fringes of fandom was that Sterek was the most adorable thing ever, so let's draw them kissing under an umbrella in a spring shower in the woods.

I haven't watched any of that show, so the fic doesn't pull me in.

Thanks, though--if you see any well written Stiles where he's not boffing Derek (or the writer somehow shares my opinions of the pairing but cleverly justifies them together anyway), I'd be all over it. I backed off the fandom when my dash was full of pictures of underaged boys having sex with adults (tame tumblrs suddenly got very nude--Stiles is being paired with Derek and with Chris--why not finish killing me and pair Scott with the Sheriff?).

And, honestly? I could read good Scott/Derek, as part of a wolfy thing, while he's on a break from Alison. I could read Stiles/Scott, in a "how does this work" way. I could *definitely* read Stiles/Danny--I in fact would root for those crazy kids.

But at the time I left, I'd imagine it was like Supernatural before season 4 (I wasn't really reading fic then that much--I started with a Dean/OMC binge) and one pairing was just squatting on top of everything, and rare pairs were really truly rare. Has it changed much in the past few months?

Not that I'm able to see so far. Though I do recall reading an interestingly written Peter/Lydia story a few weeks back that's probably unfindable now.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm crap at summaries, too. Which is why I tend to quote a line or two that I think might prove intriguing and hint at the theme of the thing.

I am breathtakingly bad at titling pictures. I may not have thought any words at all while drawing it. And when you present on AO3, for instance, summaries and notes are also helpful--it's not like deviantArt, where you can just lead with the visual.

This month of daily pictures is especially lame and heinous.

Some of them have no names, some have trite names, and some have names that will only make sense in my head.

That's actually more stressful than actually drawing and publishing a picture a day, which I didn't see coming.
