Oh, that looks hilarious.
It probably helps that the St. Augustine story is right at the top of the fandom list, alphabetically.
That reminds me - now that I have time to start browsing through the archive, I need to come up with a plan of attack.
I'm VERY happy with the two stories I received (In Darkness, Of Elements and Existence). Both are for Sapphire and Steel, which I had mentally tagged as "least likely to receive" on my requests, and both are delightfully different. One's a nice, creepy little story that feels very in keeping with the show, and the other is a pitch-perfect crossover with Discworld.
So far, only my recipient has commented on my fic, but I'm not too surprised given a) fandom and b) length. That said, she felt compelled to leave not just one, but three gushing comments, so I'm very much counting this as a solid win.
All in all, a very good Yuletide, and I look forward to diving into the archive later today after I spent all day yesterday Being Productive.
Well, I think I've found a way to beat the YT anonymity. (Accidentally, I promise!) Find a writer's profile on AO3. Then go to the Full List of Fandoms. Any fandom they've written for, including this year's Yuletide, will be listed.
... woops.
My recipient still hasn't commented on my story, and I'm really hurt. I know objectively it's not a bad story, but still. Between tablets and smartphones, too, I can't imagine s/he still hasn't had a chance to see it, even if s/he is away from home.
The story I received was lovely, though.
Amy, that sucks about no comment from your recipient. That's just plain rude, IMO.
What story did you get for YT?
I think you read it -- it's a Jane Eyre story, written about the day they finally marry. Very sweet.
Sometimes, people suck. But maybe some drama broke out in your recipient's life(Although, personally, that's when I love to escape into a story.)

Ah, yes! I remember now.
Anyhow, reveals have gone live! (runs off to check)
At the risk of linking a WIP, I really like how this Teen Wolf fic is being written: [link]
Who are the recommended authors in Avengers movie fic? I've got Sam the Storyteller and the person who did the bots series and another series about the Avengers' lawyer. What else is good out there?
Also, how did Clint/Coulson become a thing, and are there stories where Darcy isn't obnoxious?
I like Valtyre's "Tomorrow Belongs to Me," which is Tony/Steve with (I think) reasonable Darcy. [link]
I dont know if Valtyr has done much else, but TBtM is a nice, long Big Bang fic.
