'Time Bomb'

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Mmm-hmm. American Werewolf in London is one of the best all-time monster films, despite its lack of vampires.

Okay, THAT I will agree with.

Ooo! I wonder if it's Yuletide eligible...

Oh hey! That would be a great fandom to read fic in.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I was so relieved when I got an update from one of my fave authors that didn't immediately involve me deleting the post from my phone and account due to the tag "Teenwolf". At least one person hasn't jumped ship for the shiny new fandom I am not a part of. Too many authors that I have markedto track for updates have been updating in the "wrong" fandom!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I...shamefully admit I'm almost finished with S2 of TW. Feed me recs?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Not Derek/Stiles.

(Admittedly, I read a lot of that because it's the most popular and thus 98% of fic is focused there. And because, hey, some of it is fun. Broody and snarky are kinda my OTP if the actors want to run with it or fic authors want to write it with banter.)

edit: Huh, another Danny fic. I'm only partway through but I just laughed, so I am sharing.

Oh man, I love Danny. Thanks!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Just think of them as furry vampires!

That sentence is so far out of my personal canon for monsters that I don't think I can parse it.

Just think of this, Jilli: [link]

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm still in a tidal pool of Avengers fic. It's starting to dry up in the autumn sun, a bit. There's a Big Bang due in the next month or so, plus the DVD release in a few weeks, so I'm thinking it'll keep on keeping on for a while. But I might find myself looking for other fannish options by Christmas. Does Teen Wolf have non-teen hotties (parents, teachers, etc. in their 40s)? One of the joys of Avengers has been multiple major characters around my age.

I feel everyone's pain about favorite writers transitioning to the fandom of Do Not Want. I've been waiting for years for shallot's fannish glee to branch out to something besides American Idol RPF, and when she started writing Avengers movieverse fic it turned out to be Loki/Thor.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Ok, now I want to read all the Stiles/Danny. However, I think that WAS all the Stiles/Danny.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think that WAS all the Stiles/Danny

Yeah, probably. Fandom would rather have him with the stupid statutory rapist guy (I'm guessing they wiggle their way around this in the stories, but it does bother me in context-free art).
