Wow. I'd heard about ff.net cracking down on explicit fic, but mentally I hadn't made the connection to the AO3 overload. But it totally makes sense that with that many people probably flipping their nut and trying to get AO3 accounts to import fic before it goes away? Yeah, that would break stuff.
Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
What ff.net drama?
There is a notice on the FFN front page dated June 4 going into detail on the difference between M (allowed) and MA (not allowed) ratings. If anyone needs AO3 invites, I've got two.

So you too can have the archive crash on you? It's actually easier on the servers right now if you read it while not logged in. And read from offsite links, rather than searching the archive. So we are told.
Ah, that would explain why AO3 keeps timing out on me, though I'm not logged in.
AO3 has always been problematic for me, and that goes back months.
I've set up an RSS feed for my favorite pairing: Steve/Tony. Although, AO3 does seem to have improved in speed since yesterday. I haven't gotten a 502 all day!
I wonder if anyone has done Lost Girl/Dexter . "An accidental meeting between two serial killers."
