Well, I now have Seasons 1 - 7 SG1, Seasons 1-5 of Babylon 5 and Season 4 of Alias. (Not yet available in the UK)
In the shops here, SG1 is retailing at £30 per season, so that's £120's worth of DVDs for around £50. B5 is at £55 per season, so that's £275's worth of DVDs for around £50. Alias ain't available. I'm very chuffed. If only they were selling Farscape. Sigh. £100 per season in the shops. Cannot afford it. Cannot.
Ficwise, though, I'm finding Veronica Mars by far the most tempting source material right now. SUCH interesting and messed up characters. Whom I want to poke with sticks, or maybe, you know, rub salt in their wounds a little. And then kiss it better. And maybe bite them.

There should be Wallace/Veronica. Well, no, there should be vast quantities of fabulously fucked up Veronica/Duncan, Veronica/Logan, Veronica/Lily, Duncan/Logan, Weevil/Logan, Weevil/Veronica... there should be a lot of complicated and messy and sexy and fabulous and hot and wrong fic. And some funny, snarky, plotty gen fic. And probably some disturbing Logan/otherpeopleihaven'tthoughtofyet.
But there should also be some surprisingly sweet, (not-saccharine, not-angsty) Veronica/Wallace.

I must admit, in my very brief foray into seeking out the VM fic unaided, I was surprised at how much Logan there was.
'course, I'm up to episode 16 now, and the surprise she is gone. Damn show. Damn button pushing. Jesus, they're cutting my heart out with a spoon with the whole Logan thing. He's SUCH a messed up bunny. And he bruises so pretty.
