Well, it took me a solid year: I started writing it last July. I think I'll be lucky to post the final version within a year, since it's a bit much to expect my betas to turn it around quickly.
It'll be fun to be done, though: this is the story I've written with the broadest appeal, since it's a Narnia novel set just at the end of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Fandoms come and go, but nearly everyone's read Narnia.
