Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

This is fanart, not fanfiction, but the artist is so talented I think everyone should go heap praise on them: [link]

It includes STXI, Young Avengers and Harry Potter. Mostly SFW (although the HP one is a bit on the gory side and one of the STXI has nekkid Kirk/McCoy from the waist up), but very fannish, so it depends on who you want watching over your shoulder.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Supernatural (go.back.to.sleep).

I love this vid. It's totally creepy. The creator does a great job of putting the same tone over all the visuals, and makes me really want to go back and watch all the episodes they've clipped from. SPN as horror.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I thought SPN *was* horror. Isn't it?

SPN is not only horror. But the vid is old-school horror and nothing but.

A question about a plot point from Buffy--I know! Something Buffy-ish!: Did Willow offer to try to use magic to cure Joyce or is that fanon? I don't have DVDs for that season, and I'm gearing up to take a run at Career Change again.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I don't recall anything like that, though there was fan speculation that Dawn's presence or the memory reshuffling to shoehorn her into the Summers family was the cause of Joyce's problems.

IIRC, the aneurysm that killed Joyce was sudden and no one even knew it was there.

She'd been in hospital, hadn't she? There had been some brain problem warning.

Yeah. Joyce went in for tests, they found a "shadow", operated to remove a tumor and she died from the aneurysm after she was on the road to recovery.
