Xander: I still don't get why we came here to get info about a killer snot monster. Giles: Because it's a killer snot monster from outer space. I did not say that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bah! They call out the NCIS:LA foster care math fail.

My favorite part was Batman.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Batman is a case unto himself and should always be called out. The NCIS:LA thing foster home was just so stupid and didn't work out in real world math that it tickles me to no end to see it here. Their manpain and bromance is so formulaic.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Batman is a case unto himself and should always be called out.

srsly. Question 1: Are you Batman?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The Batman was my favorite part, too.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Totally awesome STXI fic that I came across in the Star Trek Big Bang lj community: Graduate Vulcan for Fun and Profit.

Gen, pg-13. Author's summary: It really does take a village to raise a Jim.

Go, read, give the author lots of love.

And a different ST:AOS Big Bang rec: [link]

Long plotty team!fic with a very cool backstory for Kirk, and wraps in some neat grey canon via the Rihannsu novels and other sources.
