I'm sorry, dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk.

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What about Safari, Chrome, and Opera?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

They can guarantee it will work on Firefox. It will not work on IE. Other browsers, you're pretty much on your own. If you reach the second page of the signup and the list of fandoms doesn't populate, you're out of luck.

The yuletide_admin comm has the latest details, as well as a bunch of suggestions from people in the comments.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And now it's the last day to sign up for yuletide! There's something like 6 hours to go. They have a countdown on the yuletide page.

Always Anti-fascist!

Trust my rage

Speaking of Yuletide, I have some crackfic preferences that I noticed are on the Yuletide list. I've never participated, but eventually, I'll be able to read what people wrote for others, correct? It's not just the recipient that gets to read the story?

(Oh, and hi, thread. I pretty much just lurk in this thread.)

The archive goes live on Christmas Day for everyone to read.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Also, new this year is Festivids, which is the same idea but for vidding. I... am way too defective at deadlines to ever sign up, but other than that I can. not. wait.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I am not writing for Yuletide this year, but would be happy to serve as beta for any Buffistas who are.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I realised some time ago that the best/only way I can participate in Yuletide is in the New Year's Resolutions bit, where you can pick and choose from unfulfilled requests in a leisurely, commitment-free fashion. Everyone wins!
