Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Oh man, the one where they're food decorators. I love that story.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Sometimes I think the writers invented SGA just so the writers could produce tasty, tasty crack. Damn, that's a lot of crack in that fandom.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Damn, that's a lot of crack in that fandom.

That's how my friends got me hooked. "No, really, penguins! Look, we know you don't watch the show, but you've gotta read this." And then there were the DVDs and the recc lists and then I woke up years later and Obama was president.

Good times.

The Rodney-as-cook stories are always fun.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

That's how my friends got me hooked.

That's how I end up reading a lot of fandoms. Hell, that's how I started reading CW RPF. And bandom, because Plei found the gen MCR/Addams Family cross-over. So apparently my gateway drug for any fandom is crack fic.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I have been the portal to RPF for many people. Which is funny, considering I still prefer FPF

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Where were all of you at the F2F when everyone was agreeing how skeevy it all was?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I was possibly on the skeevy side, though I don't remember the conversation.

Heh. It wasn't a bad conversation, to be clear, just that the subject happened to come up when all of the people in the room seemed to have strong 'beyond the pale' feelings about it. Which is fine, obviously. Just had me biting my tongue a bit.

Sadly, I was not there for that. Or I would have laughed and laughed and said what I said above.
