I remember the first slash story I read -- I think it was Ducan and Richie or maybe Ducan and Methos (more likely that) and I just didn't get it. Couldn't see the sexy.

Then I read another and I got it (I think it was a better story).

I'm not very OTP. In fact the only OTP I have is the one that's most shameful -- Sayid/Shannon. Yes. I know.

The most unlikely Due South pairing I like is Vecchio/Turnbull -- I think I've read all the good stories (and there aren't more), I can't tell you why but I like the pairing. And Kowalski/Turnbull. But not really Fraser/Turnbull -- doesn't ping for me. But I lke almost every other pairing.

With BtVs, I really enjoy reading Spike/Xander, but at the same time I don't really believe they'd hook up -- Xander has too many vamp issues.

But I'm open to almost any other pairing.

The other night I was wondering if anyone had ever written a Gilmore Girls Luke/Rory. But someone, somewhere probably has -- I'm sure every pairing has been written. But I was kind of wanting a twisted, wrong story from someone who writes well. Just out of curosity.

Dude, Rory/Luke almost writes itself. It's a bit squicky, but not too bad for me. The hard part would be writing Lorelai's reactions.

Hell, Rory/Lorelai almost writes itself, and you KNOW it's out there. That disturbs me.

Pretty much my reasoning on the shamefulness of Rory/Paris, actually. Because the first season was great, but every week I wonder more and more why I keep watching...

Also, is there any good fic about Lilly Rush from Cold Cash Files? I am sort of fadcinated with her, but I suspect there are only schmoopy hot partner guy/Lilly fics, so i am ascared to look.

Darn you, wee Plei! Our conversation over in B and A inspired me to read some Buffy girlslash. And now I might have to finish my dusty old Great Willow/Tara AU Fic that I started ever-so-long ago.

Sometimes I wish I were less ambitious with my fic. I'm several thousand words into two different fics that could easily turn into novels if I ever get around to finishing them. Hopefully the sixth Harry Potter book won't turn my Hermione/Ginny one into a useless mess.

EDIT: OH NOES! It looks like I may have lost what I had of that Willow/Tara. How could I have done that? Sad now.

My OTP of shame is Grissom/Nick from CSI. At first I was skeptical, but then I read a couple of really good fics, and was hooked.

My anime OTPs all tend to be pretty canonical, with a fair number of canonical m/m pairings.

Most embarrassing occasional pairing: Buffy/Giles. Honestly, I'm embarrassed about having a OTP...I've become embarrassing shipper girl about MunchenKay forevah!1! I told myself I wouldn't, damn it. But, yeah, I argue with people...pick out shippable moments and all of it.
