Here's the SPN fic I posted the other day (Dean/Castiel, Chuck p.o.v.): Between Unwritten Lines.
'Beneath You'
Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
Drusilla and the Delusional Vampire. Twilight/BtVS.
Holy mother, that was fantastic. Drusilla really IS my favorite.
She had the advantage of precognitively knowing when the storylines of the shows she appeared on would peak in quality and when it would be a good idea to twirl off to greener pastures.
I've watched that three times now. It just keeps getting better.
I got all excited at the ST recs, but it turned out I had already read them all. Woe.
Fannish Shit I didn't Say: Because, you know, I joined a new fandom, one in which I'm, you know, a freak, for being Gen Girl in the sea of Vince/ Eric slashiness, but I'm not that bugged about this. I know I'm a freak in a thousand different ways, so that's fine. But I read someone's story and now I'm just dying to say: "I get that you find the task of editing boring, and you might be thinking "What the hell? It's just fanfic." and as long as you get actor and manager together you've done what you wanted. HOWEVER, "eternal" and "internal"? Not even the same word. Not even a little bit. Giving poor Eric "eternal" bleeding is like making him a self-feeding cat dish for Cullens or something...it's wicked distracting. So, I point it out to be nice...how am I now the asshole? I can't promise not to say anything rude about your syntax, but I swear I will always apologize afterward!"
Oh, honey!
Jeez, why do people get pissy about having typos pointed out? Or about Britpicking/US equivalent? It's helpful, damn it! It's the crit equivalent of helpfully telling someone they've got spinach in their teeth - not like telling them their whole chosen ensemble is fugly.
Wrod. I said "I thought you'd wanna know, because I would." I would die, leaving that there, it would cause me pain like a needle in my non-existent cock. And the fact that I'm a newbie and nobody cared enough to tell me would make me all insecure(it's an E. thing, I think) and thinking that a whole tiny fandom thinks I suck. And I was nice, too, as I blamed it on the spellchecker, not even daring to think that somebody who watches HBO wouldn't know the difference, cause I'm snobbish in weird little ways that don't show. But now my whole little cosmology is blown. I hate it when happens.

But a helluva mental image.
