"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

So, in case you're interested and not on LJ, I have committed SPN fic:

here and here.

Largely All About Castiel, because I think he's fab. But the next one's about Ruby, once I've finished it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

OOH, I'd missed the first one somehow. LOVE

You guys - who coined this phrase: "Do not meddle in the affairs of slashers, for you are cute and go well with other men?"

I'm wanting to say Shrift, or possibly Connie? Or has it just been a fannish phrase since the dawn of time, and it was just that I heard it first from one of them and thought it was an original shaft of wit?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm thinking Connie.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I think it derives from "Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup."

No, I don't know where that one comes from either.

Aha! Thank you, Google. Google says "Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger." comes from Tolkein, so I'd bet everything else is a descendant of that.

brillig

I'm thinking Connie.

As in me? I don't think so, but I'll be happy to claim it.

Huh. In that case I don't know who the original riff came from.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Google has that phrase all over fandom, all credited to "unknown" or "anon."
