Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The one portmanteaux name that I like is Foreteen, for Foreman/Thirteen on House.

(edited, because I can't remember what the current-season policy is in here.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I can't help but approve of the portmanteau for Pepper Potts and Tony Stark, which is Pepperony.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Pepperony

Okay, that one made me snort beer.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm still fond of Spike/Fred. (Spred.)

I mean, that one cracked me up enough that I made it an archive.

Always Anti-fascist!

Ok, Fay...if that's true, you're funny. Fandom being what it is though, I never am sure what's serious. Pumpkin pie kind of puzzles me too, actually. Though I've tried a few times, trying to be a loyal American and etc. Still would rather have cheesecake and cherries or something.

The Government Stole My Toad

I want to start a band and name it this. We'll do covers of Toad the Wet Sprocket songs remixed as Sousa marches.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Are they all puns or some such? I'm still not getting "Pumpkin Pie". I don't get "Guns and Handcuffs" either unless it's because that's the only way that pairing would actually happen.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

There is nothing to get, afaik. There is no cunning wordplay. It's just a phrase that's supposed to be a codeword for a given pairing. I think that some of them derive from specific fics, from what the Wikipedia said, but no, I don't think there's a particular schemata in action.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

It is sort of like Roswell, I think, which took me forever to understand. And probably for similar reasons-- because they both have a lot of characters with names starting with the same letter. Harry, Hermione. Ron, Remus. Sirius, Snape. Michael, Maria, Max
