Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

A question: how does one pronounce 'Methos'?

I'm assuming that it's Meth (as in methylated spirits) and Oss (as in ostrich), not Oes (as in Cheerios).

Right?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've always thought long o and long e but I don't know where I came up with that.

It's Mee-thos.

That's what I remember, anyway...

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

It's basically "mythos", because the producers were being clever. It is a long O, but it's not really stressed.

The Associated Press explains how vidding started with YouTube. Isn't that nice?

Since the dawn of YouTube, fans have been melding their own amateur video with the music of their favorite bands.

ARGH.

Oh, for god's sake. And there's Closer again.

If I were Killa, I wouldn't know whether to laugh or cry at this point.

Also, as far as I can tell, the vid by Killa and T. Jonesy is the only one listed that was created by women (not that it's necessarily clear that Killa and T. Jonesy are female, if you don't know them). And of course, on the internet, you can lie about everything, including your gender.

I just...well, I'm not sure the article's author is going to be glad he put his e-mail address on there.
