Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm afraid to go near it.

Me too.

God, that's like finding a visual link that sends ita running for the brain bleach!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It is very well-done wrongness. I watch a lot of Sesame Street, and it was in character, which is a scary thought. Yet, as it turns out, even I a capable of being shocked.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

It was spectacularly in character.

...I thought it was great. Of course, it probably helps that I didn't really grow up on Sesame Street.

Mind you, this episode of Rainbow (TV show I grew up with) pretty much made my head explode when it was aired several years back as part of a late night TV comedy thing. (This particular episode was never actually aired as part of the show, I hasten to add. It would seem that it had been gathering dust for many years...)

SO not reading that. Not at all.

Oh hey, is there any sort of thing I would need to do with regard to Yuletide once author names are revealed? 'Cos I won't be online much at that point, since I'll be running amok at DisneyWorld.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I had forgotten about that one! I must go read it now.

Jilli, which parks will you be going to?

Er, lots of them? D'World for sure, and Epcot. Kristin and Drew are our tourguides for this adventure. I just want to go on the Haunted Mansion and the Pirates rides as many times as I can.

Ah, with Drew and Kristin as guides I'm sure you'll be steered in the right direction. But I have a few bits of advice just in case:

(1) The 360° cinema movies in Epcot's Canadian and Chinese sections are beautiful and a great way to catch your breath from all the walking.
(2) France sometimes has living statues and Morocco and China sometimes have acrobats doing shows in the open spaces out front. I think you'd enjoy those.
(3) You can book a dinner reservation in Cinderella's Castle from pretty close to the Magic Kingdom front gate. I'd recommend doing so as it's easily the best food in that park and a fun place to dine with friends.
(4) Do not go on the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride. You'll have to wait in the longest line in the least interesting surroundings to be cramped into a claustraphobic, smelly sub ride where you'll barely be able to see out the windows. Far better to take an extra jaunt through the nearby Haunted Mansion.
(5) Behold the Gates of Hell. Avoid them at all costs.

Oh hey, is there any sort of thing I would need to do with regard to Yuletide once author names are revealed?

Nope! I usually just post my Yuletide stories to my LJ and website, see who wrote for me (and sometimes thank them again), and take a look to see who wrote the stories I liked.
