So, look, I'm still trying to master this whole 'Audiofic' business, and it's quite frustrating. I feel like a Luddite.
I am using GarageBand. Thus far I have successfully created a recording, then saved it to disk and/or to iTunes. It saves as an M4a file, whatever the hell that means. But I cannot email said file.
...somebody throw me a bone?
t /frustrated.
What happens when you try to email the file?
A little message pops up saying "oops! Server problem!" or something along those lines.
But I've just tried emailing the same person
without
the file attached, and there's no problem. When I tried to email the person
with
the file attached from Bangkok, I got exactly the same message the I just got now from the UK - and the email address I'm sending it to is a gmail address, and I'm sending it from gmail. So I'm guessing that it's something to do with the way I've saved the data?
But, really, I'm just staring and flailing.
I wonder if it's too big for your email. I've had that happen before.
Well, maybe - but gmail has infinite storage capacity, and it's not a
huge
file.
That's the only thing I can think of, though. I wouldn't think that gmail would care what kind of file it is. Unless someone else knows more than I do.
Bless your heart for trying.
::bangs head on desk::
I was just pointed in here. Let me check and see what the sending limit is for gmail. Do a get info on the file and find out how large it actually is.
The limit for gmail is a 20 MB attachment. Is the file larger than that?
Bless you.

er, does 10.1 megabites sound plausible? (It's just under 22 minutes long.)
