How would you feel if somebody wrote fanfic about your story? 1. Like Norma Rae."They like me...they really like me." 2. Possibly weirded out. "Um, ok, when I made those guys *partners*, I wasn't really thinking that...wacky slashers!" 3. Possibly aroused.
Exactly! If someone wrote fic for something I wrote, I'd throw cartwheels. OMG I've made the big time!
But would that still be true if the fan fic were by, say, the infamous Nikita Writer?

glllrg. The first draft of my Yuletide story has been sent off to my beta readers. I keep thinking I should feel more accomplished and less panicked than I do right now.
It was good!
