Fandom, from what I've seen is mostly, "HA, yes, we knew it!" and "It's nice that she confirmed it."

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
It really puts a great spin on that Dumbledore/Grindelwald I was feeling in Book 7.
Is it the first time a slash pairing has become canon by an extra-canonical method? I can think of cases (eg Willow/Tara) where a slash pairing became canon within canon, but I can't think of another case off hand where the author has confirmed a slash pairing is canonical by a method other than showing it explicitly in the canon itself. That could be my ignorance.
In due South, I think Paul Gross confirmed they were deliberately playing with subtext.
Was Ivanova/whatsherface on Babylon 5 actually canon, or just very very suggested?
Suggested: I don't think it ever got actually confirmed. But then I sort of fell out of the fandom back in 1997, so...
I just got one of the nicest pieces of feedback ever, and I have to share: someone read my latest story without ever having seen the show, and asked if the show was as good as my story, because if it was, she'd have to check it out.
How cool is that? t preens
I take my props where I can, because while the fb I've gotten has been very nice, it hasn't exactly swamped my inbox. Ah, well, the price you pay for not having any sex or death in the story...
The closest they got to acknowledging Ivanova/Talia was in an ep where characters were confiding in Delenn as part of some Minbari ritual, and Ivanova says "I think I loved Talia.".

And for writing long stories that people want to take their time on instead of reading in the midst of a hundred other things and have sitting right next to them, right at this minute, waiting for them.
Can I ask a favor-- Dana mentioned Resonant's story Transfigurations on Livejournal, and I have a yearning to read it on the way home. All the places where it is archived seemed to be blacked at work for me... Can anyone point me in the direction of something that might not be blocked or a text file or something?
Thanks so much!
Is fanfiction.net blocked, Sophia?
It is not, and I thought it was a great idea, but I cannot find resonant on there...
