Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
You're thinking that if you ever want to write the Young Adult novel in your head, some practice at fiction for an audience would come in handy. As this is an anon fest, you would be assured that you're not being read because people know your name, so the feedback you'd get would be especially helpful.
You already know you can write, so this is branching out.
Oh sure, there you go with the sense-making and the providing of reasons.
If you're able, I'll enable. That's the way the world works, babe.
(I shouldn't have worn my weird Warholesque coat today. I shouldn't have.)
Yes yes yes!!!

to sign up.
I'll wait for the New Year's Resolutions, and pick through those - 'cause if I make a commitment to write for a challenge, I'm likely not going to remember/knuckle down.
I've never signed up before, but I've always loved the energy of it. If I did, anyone willing to beta for me?
Every year I go through the "should I sign up for Yuletide?" dance, and every year I remember how much I loathe writing (a) to prompts and (b) to deadline.
Someone remind me that I was very cranky while writing my remix and SPN-XX stories last summer, right?
Um, er, I committed fic.
Everything (Not) In Its Place
Addams Family, because that's what I felt most comfortable attempting. I owe Plei a drink for pushing me into this.
(And yes, that's my separate-from-regular-life LJ account. Which I've used exactly once before.)
Wait... did Yuletide signups open? It looks like they are, but there wasn't an announcement on the comm.
Edit: Nevermind. I didn't pick up that there was a separate admin comm that I needed to friend.
If I did, anyone willing to beta for me?
Sure. Even if I'm not familiar with the fandom, I'd be happy to help out.
Lord help me, I signed up.
My problem with signing up for yuletide is looking at the requested fandoms and forgetting what I decided about them in the past. Last year, I apparently offered Life on Mars. What made me think I'd be able to write Life on Mars?!? But I know this year, I'm going to end up with fandoms that will confuse me when next year's selection comes around.
