I just said that you're pretty. Even when you're covered in...engine grease, you're... No, especially, especially when you're covered in engine grease.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I will point out, however, that I merely JOKE about Dobby.

Were I the me that once I was, you'd have already seen epic posted Dobby, right down to the bit with the skunk suit, and the button, and possibly even the Harry Potter sock joke.

And you'd be shaking your head at me, like you did over the Snydersex.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Dean in the bunny suit? Twitchy nose?

And, yes, you've still got wrong. You just misplaced it for this show. Which is okay because whoa have other people picked up the slack...

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

This is true. Except for the shaking my head part, because I'd be too busy reading.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I blame shallot for getting me into SPN, despite the fact that half my friends here have been raving about it for months. All it took was a couple of her stories with humorous slants, and then Edlund's "Hollywood Babylon," and my apathy was a thing of the past.

Even though I'm not as enamored of the storytelling as I am of shows I've really gotten into like Buffy and Wonderfalls, I find I'm identifying with Dean as strongly as I did with Willow and Jaye. There's something comforting in finding that you nod at every choice, good or bad, that a character makes.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

The fandom drug list is spot-on. But apparently I am just on a drug cocktail, 'cause not only am I on all of those, but I have dozens more besides.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Now I'm trying to think what drug Due South would be....

I think it might be codeine. Because you read one story, and then you come to yourself hours later having reading 400k words of epic post-COTW that left you with a warm, rosy glow but no feeling in your extremities from not moving for so long.

What is WRONG with me??? Why can't SPN do that to me? Why'd it have to go make me all goody-goody?

Yeah, SPN isn't my roofie because I lack an important kink. Every once in a while, a fandom jumps off a bridge, and I look down at the murky water and say, "Yeah, I don't think so. Okay, dudes, I'm gonna grab a beer, read a book, maybe hang out on my couch for a while. See you next fandom!"

Clearly, your only option here is to write some nice, high-quality Sam/Andy AU, or just some good, wholesome, older woman/younger man.

Not, you know, that I'm looking for either of those things and either too lazy or too writing broken to write them.

Ah, writing broken. I seem to be stuck mostly in consume mode these days, which is pretty vexing.
