I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Oh NO! That sucks.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm just kicking myself. What a stupid thing to do. But happy I brought my laptop with, and the hotel has wireless, yay!

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I haven't, because, well, I'm kind of embarrassed. It's my fic notebook, you know?

Call the airline anyway. Don't be embarrassed. Who cares if they raise an eyebrow or two? Keep telling yourself that you don't care what total strangers think -- it's not like you plan on babysitting their kids or anything. (You don't want to lose two years' worth of thoughts and work, do you?)

(This advice brought to you by yet another total stranger, whose opinion means absolutely nothing to you, of course.)

I lost a fic notebook on the bus. It didn't have anything identifiable in it, but I hope whoever found it enjoyed the Spander.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Call the airline, Consuela. You're a writer, and it's a working notebook, full of ideas and drafts and false starts. No hesitation necessary. If they can find it and give it back, great! If not, at least you did what you could to recover it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's going to be one of the less exciting things they find on the plane, seriously -- they're more concerned about child pornography and bomb plans, et cetera.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Great weeping jesus, what scumbag just posted to fandom_art? So very much not safe for work, and I should know. Where the hell is the moderator and will they please nuke this jackass?

Thrive to spite them

Now I want to see what's on fandom_art, but since I'm at work it will have to wait. I'm sure this will end up on fandom_wank.

I believe it is a hacked livejournal, and I had to speedily remove some things from my flist this morning, because o holy hell not work-safe.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

FWIW, I checked -- my virgin eyes! Sacrificed for all your sakes!! -- and the truly NSFW appears to have been deleted. The "Wow, dude, get some therapy" parts appear to be there in all their glory, and from the comments it looks like there's some kind of hackery and abuse complaints involved.

I don't even know what hissyfit shrift is talking about, or else I would go read along and laugh suffer for all your sakes on that matter as well.
