Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

If any SPN readers are interested in a plotty, smart, creeepy story about Dean and the Big Bad Wolf, set among the loggers and environmental activists in the Pacific Northwest, click here. to read "Red" by Big Pink. I can't say enough good things about this story: it has Winchester Angst, three-dimensional original characters, smart suspenseful plotting, and a fantastic sense of place. And a Dean who will break your heart into itty bitty pieces.

Curse you, wee Suela!

Reccing rassafrassin' tailor-made for me stories when I have stuff to do...

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I haven't yet read/watched Hellsing. Maybe Anne has?

I've seen the anime and read some of the manga, but I've not been tempted to seek out fic. This is mostly because the fandom is apparently v. wanky.

I am so seriously tempted to write a long, gushing, public review of that story. You have no idea.

It was hard for me to break from reading it to actually get myself lunch.

Well, I think I do, since I just wrote two long public gushing reviews of it... *grin*

I could believe that. I read the overviews on ship_manifesto, and started to suspect that I could see echoes of wank.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

...Nooooooooo!

I have been at work for twelve hours! I have had parent meetings! I deserve my peppermint mocha and my cookies! They are calling to me from Starbucks right now!

I cannot stay at work to read fic that screams 'written for Fay'...

weeps

Dude, Fay, it would have TOTALLY been worth it. I mean, I had to DRAG myself away to eat.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think I'm going to have to print it out here at work, aren't I, instead of taking the scratch paper home and doing it tonight? (I discovered I am out of paper last night).
