Fantastic!
claps
Thank you!
(Because I am hypocritical, I'm not actually
opposed
to reading Don/Charlie, as such. It doesn't squick me - I just don't think I'll buy it. But there are lots of stories I enjoy without believing. And, hell, a good writer can sell me on anything. I just really don't SEE it in the teeny bit of canon I've seen. Still - pretty.)
Thanks SA! Any chance you have recs for non-Don/Charlie Slash?
Lee, sorry honey, only that single random Charlie/Marshall one. There's Larry/Charlie slash and Colby/Charlie and maybe even a David/Colby or two, but I haven't been moved to read them. My fulcrum for the fandom is the Eppes family, so I mostly read stuff involving them. numb3rs_notice has most of that stuff linked.

Heh. Obviously the solution is to get you more canon. And you're welcome for the stories, I hope they're a start.
Here's Dira's stuff. [link]
Thanks Dana! I will have to do some printing this weekend, I can tell.
Oh, lord.
SO sucked in.
(And, yes,
of course
I'm reading the BroYay. Although I still don't believe it at all. But - pretty boys. Apparently I
am
that shallow.)
...well, I have to say that there's some very enjoyable Charlie/Don out there, but it still doesn't really ring true for me. Whereas Charlie/Larry I am ALL OVER like a rash. Yes. Totally. Bless the geeky vaguely crossgenerational big gay love. BLESS it.
It's surprising how equal and close they are, isn't it? Given the difference in their ages. Larry always treats Charlie as if they'd done the whole thing together, instead of being Charlie's mentor for awhile there. It's interesting.
It's
perfect.
And oddly, whilst I find Snape/Harry fucks with my head utterly, Larry/Charlie absolutely not a problem.
eta
Well, no, okay, there's nothing odd about Snape/Harry fucking with my head. Because (1) Harry's a child and now a teen in canon, compared with Charlie Eppes' canonical age. And because (2) there's really nothing unhealthy about me having Big Issues about Teachers wanting to bang their pupils, and it making me want to run screaming into the night, brandishing an axe.
Well, it helps that we're seeing them both as adults, I think.
