Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

'Never Leave Me'

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It would help if I'd seen the show, I'm afraid.

Hee. I'd say oops, but instead I'll blame ita. She told me to ask you.

eta: If you give me a couple of days to make it to Best Buy and buy discs, I'd be happy to burn the first two seasons for you, Dana.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm going to drown in all the stuff I have to catch up with. My hard drive is full. Ack.

Not that I'm saying no, of course. I'm always willing to be converted.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I watched a bit of it with lee this weekend, and it looks *really* good.

Dana, if you email me your address, I'll burn you a couple disks and send them out at some point.

Adrian Lester is a pretty pretty man.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oh, hell yeah.

I haven't seen the show myself, but Lester is a damned fine actor. One of the best Hamlets I've seen, in Sir Peter Hall's production that played in Paris (which someone filmed, which is how I happened to see it) a few years back. And hot like a hot thing.

Utterly fabulous (although perhaps a wee bit spoilery) Simpsons-style cartoon rendition of the characters from BSG

Hee. I just dropped that link into Boxed Set. It's great.

...so, despite not having ever seen the show, I've been dipping my toes into the murky waters of Highlander fic, courtesy of Poly Recs. (And a wee bit of Sports Night too. I suspect that Supernatural will be next. Mind you, I'm still mostly reading SGA, as and when.)

...anyway, I find myself having to ask whether anyone wrote Buffy/Methos (or Buffy/someotherimmortal) in response to the whole AtS Season 5 thing about Buffy and The Immortal?

Also, there really should be some good XMen fic in response to X3; regardless of the merits of the movie in and of itself, it had lots of fic-producing possibilities, I thought. Anyone seen any?

Finally - just watched MirrorMask. Lovely. So...anyone seen fic yet?

Art Crawl!!!

I don't know if there are any Buffy/Methos stories out there, but if you're planning on writing one -- I'll totally read it.
