Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

Thank you for those links, shrift.

Am, I'll try to keep an eye out from now on. If someone good posts a story, here's hoping I'm coherent enough to link y'all here.

Why is there not a huge batch of Hall/Oates?

It makes me happy to know that, no matter what cracked-out bunny I suddenly find myself craving, there are people who crave things far crackier.

Especially since it seems like, more often than not, I discover that I'm craving rare pairings in the anime/manga I've been following.

Really? Who?

Really? Who?

It could just be that I don't know where to look, since I have no idea where anything is on livejournal, but... for Yami no Matsuei, I seem to have a thing for Tatsumi, and Tatsumi/Tsuzuki. Halroprillalar got me hooked on Inui/Kaidoh for Prince of Tennis. Eleanor K. got me hooked on Anotsu/Magatsu for Blade of the Immortal. Samurai Champloo: Jin/Mugen (or, rather, anything with Jin). Bleach: Ichigo/Ishida, and I have the urge to write a story about them called Angry Dork Boys in Love. (Actually, that could be a multifandom challenge story, couldn't it?)

Fruits Basket? Mabudachi Trio in any, and dare I say every, combination. Adore Kyo. Weirdly infatuated with the idea of Kyo and Hatsuharu.

For FMA, I'm fine, because I'll read just about everything. And for Saiyuki, I'm a ginormous Sanzo whore, but also like Hakkai/Gojyo.

That's the big problem. This recs site has some stuff, including some good Ichigo/Ishida.

There's lots of Mabudachi Trio stuff out there, but the trick is finding the stuff that's good. FB has an amazingly high crap/good stuff ratio.

I have yet to get into Yami no Matsui, but I hope to remedy that in the not-too-distant future.

Angry Dork Boys in love should absolutely be a multifandom challenge.

BTW, have you gotten into X/1999 and Tokyo Babylon yet? Would you like to borrow my manga? t /pimp

If I only had a brain...

I'm sorry, you're serious?

It's a teensy fandom. I read quickly. I'm desperate.

Hee, yes, that's been my problem. Wherever there's anime/manga fanfic, I've noticed there's tons of FB, but most makes the baby Jesus cry. Which is normal for fandom, but still...

I have yet to get into Yami no Matsui, but I hope to remedy that in the not-too-distant future.

I need to hunt down more good Tsuzuki/Hisoka for PolyRecs, come to think of it.

Angry Dork Boys in love should absolutely be a multifandom challenge.

I have no desire to run a challenge, but I wouldn't mind issuing this challenge to myself. (Anything you'd like to see?)

BTW, have you gotten into X/1999 and Tokyo Babylon yet?

Not yet, and it's due to lack of time, not interest. After this weekend, things might calm down a bit, and I'll go splurge at Waldenbooks.

Cool. Do read Tokyo Babylon first, if you can. It'll make X that much ouchier if you do.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh, dear god, woman. No. Please, no.

The food poisoning that knocked me flat on my ass a few hours later agrees with you on that.

There's is no Hall/Oates on account of the sudden and acute smiting delivered from above at the thought, so I'll just look for some Weevil/Logan.
