Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Okay, I admit it: I'm twelve. But I just cannot read through a 32,000 word story, no matter how well written, where the viewpoint character's name is Yoni.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I mean, does the author know?

Until people started using the term here, I'd never heard Yoni as anything but a name.

Either doesn't know or is completely disregarding that usage of the word - it doesn't seem to be satirical in any way.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, come on. There has to be a Lingam somewhere in the story, right?

I had a maths teacher in school called Mr. Lingham. Turns out occasional hysterical laughter is hard to explain. People not so big on twelve year-olds who've read the Kama Sutra.

If I only had a brain...

Red Scharlach takes a particularly irritating fan-fiction cliche and beats it into a bloody pulp. New Who Season 1, no spoilers.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I can play vids on my iPod.

There are NO WORDS for how very, very cool this is.

Now I just need to figure out why I've only been able to reformat some of the vids from my laptop.
