Back in the first flush of
Smallville
love, I
so
wanted there to be a Clex vid to Liberty X's song Just a Little.
(apologies for the apalling spelling in the lyrics linked to.
I'd also love to see a dykealicious
Witchblade
vid, and I'd love to see Angel/Lindsey, or Angel/Lindsey/Darla, or even just Lindsey, set to
The Devil Came Down To Georgia.
I always figured there should be a Sentinel vid to
Oh Jim
by Gay Dad. To be obvious, like.
For future reference for you lyrics posters, songmeanings.net is my favorite lyrics site on the net. Fairly well quality-controlled, no popups, interesting comment options. Kind of slow this morning, for some reason, but that's not usually the case.
As noted in Natter, the slash is reawakening my math love. Have I given sufficient thanks for the existence of Numb3rs in general yet? Even though it's probably led to a lot of people mangling concepts in fanfiction?
That's OK; it seems to my decidedly amateur eye that they mangle concepts on the show all the time. I saw one episode about sabermetrics that was, well, if sabermetrics were really like that, there would be no reason to have a Society for American Baseball Research, because all of the research would already be completed.
You should be hiring yourself out as a consultant.

Oh, word. But the show comes out once a week, whereas fanfiction can just keep coming.
all the cool kids are delurking
So are there any SW readers/writers/fans around here? Because I have this idea after seeing Ep. III about Obi-wan/Padme/Anakin that will. not. get out of my head. I'm wondering if anyone has written it yet, or saw the same thing I did.
It's possible that I have the heavy-duty slash goggles on.
I've seen mentions of the *idea* of Obi-Wan/Padme/Anakin, but I have yet to track down an actual fic. And I've been looking fairly desperately for any Ep. III fic, because I have plot bunnies and no time to feed them. Ailleann, I heartily recommend that you write it yourself.
I think I saw some mentioned a couple of days ago, but I've no idea where.
And, because this thread's been slow, is the Shiny New Fandom high I'm experiencing at the moment the reason people become such big old fandom whores?
