Right there with you Plei. Heated Rivalry is the most recent bit of media I got really invested in, and reading fic for it doesn't appeal between its own fanfic origin and the toxicity of the online fandom reaching escape velocity in record time.

Dang! At least Sherlock fandom took a year or so to hit cray cray.
