'Shindig'

Fan Fiction II: Great story! Where's the sequel?

This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.

It's actually been a really hard year, when you stop and do the math. Eliot would cry, too, if it didn't take him seventy minutes of therapy, two cocktails, and a Sondheim medley before he can experience a human emotion through the haze of his PTSD.

I'm in the middle of re-reading it right now. Damn, that's good stuff.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

YOU GUYS THAT FIC

By the end, I was flapping my hands and making "she's an atheist bodhisattva?!?" noises.

Okay, I don't have time to do a big dump of my GO fic recs, because the shit has hit my own personal fan in a big way today, but I'll throw this one out, because it is SCREAMINGLY funny, especially to anyone who's ever belonged to an online community: The Official Mr Fell Quarantine Thread.

You can't have a headcanon about a real person!

Oh, you sweet summer child.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I love that fic too! So hilarious.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I'm going to preface this with these two fics shouldn't work, and it was unbridled curiosity that prompted me to read the first one. But they're so great!

Such an Old-Fashioned Word and the sequel Less than Kind.

They're Good Omens / Hannibal crossovers. No murder hijinks, and you don't need to have seen Hannibal. They're oddly sweet.

Ooooooh. That worked shockingly well!
