From the Department of Randomness: I found out this weekend that one of my brother's closest friends writes General Hospital fanfic. So if anybody is a fan of Robert Canary (IIRC - not his real last name), I know him, and have since (yikes) about 1983.

I should probably hunt down the doc fandom is making about platform needs before I agree to lunch.

I may text you it and my thoughts on the matter. I haven't looked at it for a while, it's unlikely to actually happen, and I have some concerns about its attempts to be all things to all people, including some outside of fandom things.
