Well you only get out of taxes if you are not political. So having a gathering to supporting changing the rules of the senate, denouncing your political opponents as anti-religious, supporting the nominations of specific federal judges, and being addressed in a partisan manner by the majority leader of the senate is an example of not being political. I can't think of an example of being political at the moment.
