If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Algebra, Euclidean geometry, Trigonometry, Discrete/finite mathematics, Introductory calculus through integration, and History of mathematics

I did all these in middle school (except maybe discrete/finite math), but I was in the most advanced group of a math/science magnet program. (These days, I can barely count to ten, but in middle school, I was SMRT!)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

ita, I hate to break it to you, but if your vitamins are talking to you, you've got big problems. Also, I think your vitamins might be big liars.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Emily, are there separate qualifications for teaching middle school and high school? Because I think there were just two licenses 15 years ago in California - Elementary and Secondary and middle school part of Secondary. I do think it'd be pretty cool if you could start teaching finite math and history of math in middle school, but it's hardly likely.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

You have to say "alledgedly" gay joke. The morning radio show out here is has been threatened with a law suit by Cruise's people for wondering if he's gay.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wait, who would say Tom Cruise is gay? He's banging Katie Holmes, isn't he?!?!??!

OMG so bored.

-t, yes. The secondary requirements are:

1. Abstract algebra. 2. Number theory. 3. Calculus through differential equations. 4. Probability and statistics. 5. Non-Euclidean and transformational geometries. 6. Applied mathematics or mathematics modeling.

Christ, now I'm remembering why I'd planned on middle school math in the first place. I guess I'd better go ahead and take both those math classes next semester regardless of time constraints, and see if I can't audit some others. Don't get me wrong, I've had most of these (although I'm really not sure anyone ever taught me "Non-Euclidean and transformational geometries"), but I have no idea how I'm going to be brushed-up enough on them by the end of July to pass the test. Eek!

ETA: Particularly because, in my own little learning quirk, I can learn things speedily and very well from a person which confound me in a book. Apparently learning math requires body language for me.

Up with the sun

What should I have for lunch? We have tuna, veggie burgers and ravioli here, and I could possibly make soup. I was going to make a salad with chicken, but that doesn't work so well when you don't have lettuce.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

My vitamins tell me so.

I was wondering whether vitamins are allowed in Scientology. Aren't they, like, drugs under another name? Certainly, elements of the FDA think so.

Also, I had a classmate in college who called her Prozac "Vitamin P".

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Msbelle, obviously you're on some sort of medication or other, or perhaps in league with aliens. Someone will be over right away to take care of that.

vw and I watched A Series of Unfortunate Events last night. It was too short. I want more. Also, much more Uncle Monty.

Must. Get. In. Shower.
