Rick, I think that is called "static electricity."
Like the way my white T-shirts become black whenever I hold Teddy. Or when he climbs on my chest, which is one of his favorite positions for watching TV.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Bob reminded me last night of a phrase I hadn't said in a while,
"What do the five fingers say to the face?!"
SLAP!
Harking back to earlier discussion on science and religion. Rush has determined that Global Warming is a religion.
Actually most people I know dismiss people concerned about the environment as tree-hugging idiots.
"choke a bitch" is making steady rotation in my vocabulary.
I saw an LJ icon with a still from Passion of the Christ that said "Does Jesus have to choke a bitch?"
dismiss people concerned about the environment as tree-hugging idiots.
Well, yeah. The Rapture will take place long before that hole in the ozone layer becomes large enough to worry about.
The Rapture
Not so much as the rapture as a belief that the environmental issues are just made up by environmentalists.
"choke a bitch" is making steady rotation in my vocabulary.
msbelle is me. I think "I'm Rick James, bitch" had more immediate impact, but Wayne Brady's delivery just killed, so it's buried itself deeper in my semi-consciousness.
"more cowbell"
I still miss the reference. But that's OK! Surreal is good.
I was in my sister's church once where the minister said that we didn't have to worry about environmental issues because Jesus would be along any day now, so no worries. Seriously. He acknowledged that there were environmental issues, but totally wrote them off as something that would be made irrelevant due to the Second Coming's immediacy.
sara did you miss the link I posted, or can you not watch it at work?
