I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but he'd get it.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'd think "his brother's bris" would be the one place a young boy would feel happy to be left out.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sounds like a wonderful day, Sheryl.

ROBIN! I keep missing you. But (1) I saw the WBB walking Layla down the street on Friday. I thought about honking but didn't want to freak out the people around me. (2) how was the hollywood bowl and Garrison K?

just got back from the movies. That was twice in 1 weekend. Something must be wrong.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Kat!!! The Hollywood Bowl and GK were awesome. Most fun part of the show? Watching Tom Keith, the sound effects guy. I love the Bowl --great acoustics, gorgeous hills rising up behind the stage, being able to see the "woo" of the "Hollywood" sign in the background, cushions to rent for 75 cents, blue blue sky--and want to go again.

What movies did you see? The Travelling Pants one? We're going to "Cinderella Man" tonight. Are you guys around this week? Maybe we can hang some night.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Damn, peoples! There is only one thing better than bacon.

More bacon.

My first summer here, we went to the Hollywood Bowl for a Latin Jazz concert. It was so much fun.

Did see the Travelling Pants movie which I liked. Very sweet and tear jerky, just like the book, with some watch through your fingers and laugh out loud moments.

Today I saw Mad Hot Ballroom which you have to go see. It's really fantastic. Kids. Dancing. Public school competition. What's not to love?

Two things better: more bacon AND free bacon.

Oh, YEAH. Free bacon is the apogee of baconness.

You misspelled sushi there, Steph.

That's probably because you suck.

I have the nibblies. I know I want something specific to eat, even though I'm not really hungry, but I can't figure out what the something is. so I've been having bites of a lot of different things, trying to figure it out.

I hate it when that happens.
