The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Also, I think I need to watch Letterman.

let me know if you decide to play hooky.

Har Har. This is the committe where I am assuming the chairpersonship at this meeting. Reluctantly. So while I'd love to play hooky, not possible.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kat, it'll be next weekend at the earliest -- and I can give you the GG DVD. Which reminds me, Lee -- it'll be a couple days before I make it to the post office.

The outfit sounds fabulous, shrift.

Clean lines, solid colors, satin belt, and I even have a wedding card that is pretty and heartfelt without being mushy.

Oh, hey, I never did show y'all what I'm wearing for my sister's wedding. It's close, but not exact. That's the color, though.

No hurry. I'll send you my work address, which is better for getting packages.

That's a great dress, shrift.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Happy birthday Dana!

Was I the only one that was in the dark regarding a Captain Jack Sparrow sighting? It appears that Johnny Depp in full regalia is a significant presence in Terri Clark's "Girls Lie Too" video, but upon Googling for confirmation, it's a look-alike. Coulda fooled me--the look, the mannerisms, the swagger was all the same.

Channel surfing yields some interesting results at 2 in the morning.

UGh. I blame Polgara.

I couldn't get to sleep after all (though my boarding pass is printed. YAY)

Polgara and I went to see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants which was great and tearjerking and all the rest. When I got into bed tonight, I thought, "I should read the second book again." So I got it and started reading and stayed up way past my bedtime to finish it.

Polgara, lots of what I mentioned happening was mostly right in concept but wrong in detail, like Kostas getting married, but first, LENA breaks up with him. Then they get back together but not after he pulled an Ephram and dated someone else and got her pregnant, thus causing him to have to break up with Lena and marry the other girl. So yeah. I had details wrong, but it's still the meat of what happened. NEAT. You should read it.
