All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Was the mower being pushed by evil space monkeys?

No monkeys, space or otherwise. Just a confluence of bad things.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

(Also, I promised Brendon the link to listen to Jon's show, but now I can't find it, Help!)

Too late for this morning's show, unless you download the podcast, but here's the link. [link]

I'll be mowing the lawn this evening.

heh, x-post...

Our wings are not tired.

Thanks Sue.

edit and DX

I'm selling the riding mower now that we sold the back yard. I finally convinced Brendon to get a lawn guy for the front. Yay!

We still have a regular mower. I don't do mowing. It may be learned helplessnes.

I keep intending to mow the lawn, but my neighbors tolerance for long grass seems to be about a day or two shorter than mine.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

now that the most eligible buffista bachelor has been snapped up, who will fill the role?

Timelies!

This was a lovely bit of x-post.

Well, there's always Polter-Cow!

I burned a cake last night because I was writing and forgot to set the timer. And yet, I'm so sure my coworkers won't notice I'm bringing it into the office anyway.

Is that rude? Or merely pragmatic?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Speaking of mowing the lawn - I also miss operating a swather: [link]

I just posted that because no one ever knows what a swather is when I tell them about it....

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Also, Sean is shacking up imminently, meaning we can't quite call him a bachelor any more -- just unmarried, as it were. So that leaves, hmmm -- JohnSweden, DXMachina, Frankenbuddha, Angus G., Pinwiz, Thomash, Poltercow, tommyrot, Tom Scola ... not a bad pool, really.

(No doubt I'm forgetting some really important Most Eligible Bachelors. It's early, still.)

Look at the post above you. (hee, got it on edit)

Yes, we do have a nice pool of bachelors.
