For some reason (I know realize this is silly) I always pictured Bon Jovi riding on a mechanical bull with the line "steel horse"
Also, I just heard back from my "back-up" apartment, and I'm in. But I haven't heard back from the place I really want. Ah... the drama
I always figured steel horse was a reference either to the tour bus, or to a motorcycle.
I never knew there was a "stale horse" metaphor. I only know the dead horse one. I'm beating it right now, AIFG.
Good to have the back up. Still crossing my fingers for the #1 choice, Sophia.
juliana! My sistah!
I'm going out in a blaze of glory

But I drew first blood
I'm no one's son

I always figure motorcycle.

Yup, me too. I got yer dead horse, yer pale horse, yer gift horse, and one of a different color. Stale is new to me.
But I can tell you that in Peterborough, Ontario, it is illegal to drag a dead horse down Main St. Well, on Sundays, anyway.
Thanks -t!
Now I am earwormed with Bon Jovi. But I like Bon Jovi, so that is OK. I find I like them MORE now than I did at the time...
nostalgia...
Kat, I'll email it to you.
Blaze of Glory
is JBJ making his bid to be the new Bob Dylan. How can anyone not love that?
I want Bon Jovi. In every way concievable.
It's a thing. I can't stand Bon Jovi's music (although, okay, I'll admit a certain nostalgia for "She's a Little Runaway"), and I've often thought, yeah, he's kind of hot, but he's not a *crush* of mine, consciously. Yet, I've had five or six dreams about him. Really, really nice ones, too.

Snerk.
