All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm looking for a Father's Day present. But since my dad works for the gov't that wouldn't be such a good choice.

I wouldn't be inclined to worry about the bruise just yet.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hmph.

Trudy, just read your Beep Me post. Is there any compelling reason for you to extend the courtesy of a returned phone call to the bitchformer boss? If not, I say let her stew over not being the boss of you for a while.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh seperate post because a completely unrelated topic. Does anyone know if pilots use written checklists for takeoff? Or do they just rely on memory?

"Why would pilots need a checklist?" asks ita. "Surely the show bible is really simple at that point -- they'd probably have fewer details to keep track of before ... wait, why are you calling it takeoff? Is that a Variety term, or something?"

Honestly, till DX's answer, I was totally confused.

watch out, ita has truly gone native.

(though I had to do a quick reread too)

Swouncing

There is light outside, and fog and darkness in my brain.

Soon I'll be able to go get some coffee, though. Then, there will also be some bitter down my throat.

[Edited because as much as food and fog may combine to create fod, that was not what I wanted to write]
