I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Kat, we have to get together (us and our honeys) so we can tell each other travel stories! Ate lots of places with lots of folks and it was great.

Also, new job? Yikes!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Honey- and travel-flaunter.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey, it's Kat AND kat!!

I will go to the paper store on my way home tonight. I went in the other day, but got too distracted by two employees having a High Energy Discussion right there on the floor to really shop. And yay for possible new gig??

Robin, that sounds amazing.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

yay for the possibility. It's especially sweet since I didn't actually apply for it.

Well, I'm making travel plans, so that's okay.

But, DAMN if Africa isn't 'spensive.

On the fetish front, at least one of the instructors has turned it into "Guess the fetish." Which means that one sentence in five is followed by "if that's your fetish" And I answer "Could be, could be."

Dude, I've been saying that about South Dakota today. Well, flights, anyway. I think you are going to have more fun. Where all?

I always thought the male-pattern baldness thing was about your uncles, not maternal grandfather. And this sucks, because now I know that any future son of mine will be a total baldhead. Signed, my father went seriously bald in his early 20s, but my bother at 26 has still got plenty o' hair.

A man would get this gene from his maternal grandfather only 50% of the time. He could instead get it from his maternal grandmother's line, in which case the maternal grandmother's relatives ( especially her father) would be the best indicators of his future baldness. But he can't get it from his father's line.

Pfah! No, I decided to visit my sister when she's in Kenya. Make your friend go back next year, please.

Whoa. I'm suddenly misanthropic. I swear, this morning, I couldn't remember what my day job was.
