Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I had pizza. I blame the really good pizza place that's a half a block from my apartment.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I blame Perkins.

Hey!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You're off the hook for now, Perkins -- I'm boiling water for the tortellini. Why is their two serving package really only 1.5 servings? Why don't they have more meaty selections?

Could be Perkins fault, those things, too.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I just ate a third of an apple pie, because it's all the pie there was. I want more pie.

Is that Perkins fault too?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

ita, you eat dinner late.

I have two sleeping children. I should celebrate by--oh yeah, I'm celebrating by reading b.org.

I had lunch at about three. Dinner now was the only way to go.

Congrats on two sleeping kids, Burrell!

How is Frankie enjoying being an older sibling?

Hi Burrell!

Why is everything my fault tonight? Where is Nilly, or Sean?

She's adjusting fairly well. She likes to touch and kiss Isaac and offer him a pacifier. She also likes to take the wee teddy bear out of his cradle and say "mine!" And she's gotten whinier and more touchy of late, which no doubt is a reflection of some degree of inner turmoil over the baby's arrival and her dawning realization that she's growing too big to be a baby anymore.

She's just so amazing to me. I can't believe she's so perfect.

Isaac, meanwhile, is still such a wub, although he's getting bigger everyday. I want to eat him. I need to figure out how to post his picture directly onto LJ so I can get some photos online.

Well, I didn't state flat out that my pie shortage was your fault, Perkins. But when it's brought to light that you may or may not be behind other food related tales of woe, I had to ask.

Heh. Sleep now. I hope you find someone handy on your own coast to help you build things! I think my goal next year might be to make it to California for a trip- save me an end table or a spice rack or something.

Tell you what, I completely absolve you of any responsibility for my daughter's stomach flu this weekend.
