I'm fairly certain I said no interruptions.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Are you winning, at least? You can't be one of those people, I think if you're a) not losing b) not losing money.

Okay -- now I need someone to salt my game so I can turn to them and say "C'mon, why you need to be such a vagina bojangler, man?"

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am losing quite a bit, but you can always get more fake money!

You're half of that person. I think the next step has to do with 20 more indoor cats and no litter box.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm torn. I am so nice and relaxed from my hot tubbing and massage that I want to go to bed, but on the other hand, it's a holiday tomorrow, so I want to take advantage of it and stay up late.

I go with sleeping. A well-earned sleep is a thing of magic, and not a luxury to be denied.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

For holidays, I say sleep when you want to sleep.

I'm trying to create a playlist that won't get me into trouble when unannounced tour groups or parents drop in at my summer job. For the most part, I'm going on the assumption that language content is more likely to be noticed than the message or story of a given song. That being said, should I preclude a song in which a man is telling a woman that he is wearing her pink feathered panties even though there is no foul language?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That being said, should I preclude a song in which a man is telling a woman that he is wearing her pink feathered panties even though there is no foul language?

My answer to this is that both "Lola" and "Walk on the Wild Side" were Top 40 AM radio hits in the early 70's. Which supports your thesis that content is blinvisible, but language causes a ruckus.

I have Lost In Translation on my TiVo.

I think the problem with this particular song is that it doesn't have a catchy chorus to distract from the other parts of the song. And it's kinda talky and easy to understand.

It's funny that you mentioned "Lola" because we had the students singing that song in a show a couple of years ago.
