And you didn't even have to press a button for it.

Plus? Free.

Heh, good advice for your friend's husband. I usually always have tuna stocked. It's a go-to protein.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I heard an interesting interview on NPR's Fresh Air yesterday (it turns out it was a repeat of a May 17 show).

David Shore and Dr. David Foster combine to be the driving force behind the new medical series House, on FOX TV. Shore is the executive producer; Foster is the medical consultant and writes for the series.

They discuss the differences between the original series pitch and what eventually developed, the story formula, and a little bit about variations. This page [link] has links to hear the interview online.

HI Nilly!

Most bras are not shaped as I am. It can be really disconcerting.

I just made the best chicken salad. It's chilling now. But a huge maple-apple roasted chicken breast (plus 10 oz honey roasted chicken because I didn't have enough of the first), 2 granny smith apples, toffee toasted almond slivers, pecan bits (I was raiding my cabinets) a toss of the oriental chicken salad dressing and some mayo to glue it together. It tastes so good!

This weekend, I: have gotten a long overdue oil change, cleaned out the linen closet (2 flipping bags to the trash! 2!) and reorganized it, bought more towels, got a turbo scratcher to hopefully deter Devi from destroying my throw rugs, installed a replacement plug for the broken one on my phone cord that plugs into the computer, grocery shopped, and then of course, the chicken salad.

Tomorrow is the clothes closet. Don't know if goodwill will be open, but that can always wait. I also want to plant some new flowers and make a go at fixing some tile in the bathroom (I don't have to but given my current relations with maintenance? If I asked them to, I'd lose my shower for a month.) Maybe some shopping.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oops. Instead of being here to post to Nilly, I fell asleep. I'm glad other people were around.

ita, I would only use cockblocking for Guy A and B, not in relationship to the woman.

There must be a lesbian equivalent, but I don't know what it is.

Hey, sara! Yay for a good weekend!

It's very annoying that I have to write down questions that I have for people instead of, you know, waking them up on 1:30 am to actually get the answers now so that I can go on with things. Well, no, not really annoying. Just strange to realize that right now I and I alone have all the power over the project, mwahahaha, or something.

[Edit: Perkins! Nobody should ever apologize for a nap!]

Use your powers for good, Miss Nilly.

Catnip makes Devi try to stand on her head. It's really strange.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Naps are good. I'm just glad I woke up in time to go sit in the hot tubs and then get a massage.

I have a very hard life.

eta: I know I said this in Bitches already, but it bears repeating.

BABYTOES!

Naps are good.

Hmm, now how can I combine this in the grant report? I'll have to be really creative for that. Hmm.

PMM, thanks for posting these pictures! Lily's face are just so, well, clear already. Usually, with babies, it takes quite a while before their features are fully there, but I can already imagine her face as a child, let alone a toddler. She's so adorable, and her face is already so expresive!

I love strange baby faces. They come up with utterly bizarre ones that, really, I don't think should be socialized out of us because they are so funny. And the sounds. Though I suppose a grown man screeching like a velociraptor to signify delight might be a bit offputting. And the growls lose their WTF! effect once they are no longer issuing from a 10ld bald bundle.

But still. Strange babyfaces!

She's adorable, Plei.
