Oh, wow. This place looks great. Oh, I feel like a witch in a magic shop.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Of course they are.

I'm telling you, the ending will kill you.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I got to the end of Exodus, where Moses (the author) dies before the end of his book, and was like, Ripoff! Soooo ghost-written. Somehow my teacher did not find this a respectful approach, but then, I continue to labor under the impression that a respectful approach, in English class, can be a hindrance sometimes.

I took a Bible class at church, and we used the Oxford English Annotated Bible, which has all sorts of interesting commentary on history and interpretation. It talks about various possible origins of each of the first five books. A friend had picked up another Bible (I don't remember which one, but it was also annotated). For the origins of the first five books, it pretty much just said Moses. We pretty much sat around saying, 'huh?' when she told us. But really, the whole dying before the book is over is a pretty compelling arguement to me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aieee!

I know I'm probably supposed to be feeling some sort of outrage on Veronica's part, but fuck that. I need justice, I need Logan cleared, and NOW. I'm so glad I only watched this today.

Okay. Went and watched the opening of tomorrow's ep on the UPN site. I feel a bit better now.

It's not TV that has me, so much as TV is the dealer of those naughty naughty boys with the snark and the pain and the way of looking so consumed by the girl. That is what I'm addicted to. And tomorrow, I'm getting me a double dose.

....

I could do with a life, or at least ... no, a life would be good.

I am ita. That was precisely my reaction last week.

That is what I'm addicted to.

Oh dear. I can tell I'm going have to spend the summer trying to catch up on VM, aren't I?

Also, ita, are you awake enough to hope on AIM for a minute?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Timelies. Another weekend down the tubes - even wasted a day off since I blew a tire on Saturday, which messed up my dinner and H2G2 plans. Spent most of Sunday feeling beat up because I strained something trying to put the donut on the car myself (I gave up and called AAA), and yesterday, ostensibly a vacation day, I spent getting a new set of front tires. Oh well, got the oil changed to so I shouldn't have to worry about the car for a while.

But honestly, if weekends and days off are going to be like this, it almost makes want to blow them off and go into work instead. Almost.
