Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

If I only had a brain...

Is 38 still the biggest bra size they carry?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The website is great -- you can search the sale by size and collection.

The problem is, I need to get re-fitted. Which VS sucks at anyway. Sigh.

Yeah -- one measured me and came up with a crazy size, another one was disputing it and wanted to remeasure me, etc., etc. Hence the sneaking out.

Mostly at VS I'd tell them what size I was looking for, they'd look at me and say "No way!" I'd assure them that was what I was wearing Right Now, and they'd back off.

Then I discovered the magical storage arrangement and avoided them entirely.

And then, I got measured at Nordies. The bras are nowhere as pretty, but they fit, so I suck it up.

Sad serial:

This is my second buy of Lush's Fairy Jasmine that has no glitter. Why they gotta play me so?

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I found a bikini I like. Top available in XS, bottom available in XXL.

I take it back. I DON'T like seperates being sold seperately. At least, not when I'm the girl who picks through the leftovers.

ETA: ita, tonight I'm trying my very first Fairy Jasmine. I will report back as to glitter content.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

So I went to get my hair done at my favorite place. I just wanted the purple wash added and a haircut, but she talked me into doing a foil of a deep burgundy with the color wash. It sounded lovely, so I went with it.

I hate it. It's not burgundy, it's copper streaks that don't match the purple or look good on me.

I didn't realize how much I didn't like it until I got home. Fortunately, she wrapped up the extra color so I could freshen it, and I've covered the copper. But gah, It's really just ugly.

I think I'll give a call and ask for a fix, which I've never had to do before, and feel uncomfortable doing for some reason.

I just think that after spending $150 at the hairdresser, I shouldn't be sitting here with a cap on my head hoping the extra purple wash soaks into the copper and doesn't look too terrible to leave the house.

My hair is my best damned feature. Without it looking the way I like, I feel so damned ugly.
