Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Kate! How are you, sweetie?

Frail my heart apart and play me a little Shady Grove

Kate! How are you, sweetie?

I'm at a friend's - waiting for her to get ready - then I'm getting back to the campout. Last night involved beer and Too Much Tequila.

Been looking at F2F pictures and sighing over the utter foaminess. Buffistas are just so yummy.

The GF is quite well. Her Birthday was two days ago, and I gave her some scented candles she'd expressed interest in, and also got a her a book (Bridge of Birds by Barry Hughart) which I am reading to her. It's really a wonderful fantasy novel of "an ancient China that never was." I've read the whole series and highly recommend it to everyone. I wanted to get it and read it to her because I found it to be a beautiful and enchanting story, and I wanted to share that with her, because that's how she makes me feel.

We're both lazing around the house this morning, as the ice cream layer cake my step mother made for me yesterday was quite rich, and gave both of us horrible tummy troubles last night.

I'm very bummed I couldn't make it to NO this year, especially after hearing that there was spectator sex going on. FEH!

Our wings are not tired.

I was there but still missed the spectator sex. Reports were that it was of the sub-par-quality variety.

So what's peoples doing for this weekend?

Last night, I watched anime. Today, I am at work. The rest of the weekend? Well, I need to buy a dress for a wedding. I'll probably watch more anime, do some laundry, and I also need to get some writing done like whoa.

It sounds kinda boring, but I never have time to sit around and do crap like this anymore, so I think it'll be a nice change. Two whole days off in a row!
