Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What a complete and total PITA, sara. Ugh. I haven't had great building management, but at least I haven't needed much. The guy here was good when the water started flowing from my bathroom light fixture, I have to say.

In my imaginary life where I'd have kids, I would want my grandkids to call me Big Momma. It would go with the wigs and all.

I love this image SO MUCH.

It is a lovely day, and I totally went out in it! YAY.

Ouch. Poor Emmett's nose.

I just cleaned out three boxes worth of paperwork from around (and under and on top of) my desk and I found a little stocking stuffer that someone gave me for Christmas full of little sample sizes of Crabtree & Evelyn hand lotions and oils. Score!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Ouch. Poor Emmett's nose.

Curse you, wee Perez... now I have this weird mini-skirted Emmett/Marsha Brady amalgam in my head going (All together now!) OH MY NOSE!

Yeah. We are getting kicked out of the building in about 20 minutes!! Good times. Good times. Just a taste of the summer when the campus will be officially closed on Fridays and I can "work from home."

At my U. job, the office is closed on summer Fridays, too, but your options are: work 4 ten-hour days or take vacation days. I thought "summer hours" were for free time off!

That is outrageous. And not in the good, Jem and the Holograms kind of way.

Why can't people just pay us for all the foamy goodness we bring into the world?

Luckily, I don't work Fridays anyway, but I'm annoyed on behalf of my coworkers. Especially the salaried ones! You don't think they work enough extra time during the school year???

So an annoying morning conversation ("You should find out that information for me!"), 3 terse voicemails and repeatedly redialing most of the afternoon and getting no one, I come home and there is a note on my door, timestamped 4:30: We have the motor part. Plz leave deadbolt unlocked Tuesday.

Funny coincidence, that. I suppose it *just* arrived. Uh huh.

It's like a miracle!

Yay! I have never been so happy to be evicted. Happy Memorial day weekend, y'all. It's been fun playing.
