Harrow: You didn't have to wound that man. Mal: Yeah, I know, it was just funny.

Like a lot of other people, I jumped at the end of Alias. Dang. I knew what was coming, I mean, sheesh. Idyllic car ride, long glances away from the road, KEEPYOUREYESONTHEROADDIPSHIT!, schmoop. Of course something is gonna smash you.

And yet, still jumped.

Pretty here. Also graduation. Lots of people doing idiotic driving maneuvers. Had a sneezing fit. 8 sneezes in a row. Think it is a record.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Alias: I don't remember who Danny is, either. Spill.

Pretty fun, I must say. Also, word to Sara's keep your eyes on the road, dipshit.

A tree 2 houses down from me, an enormous maple, lost its top last night around 10:30. Or, at 10:30, I heard a great cracking groan next door, and a whump, and when I opened the window I could see uppe branches waving wildly like drowning against the horizon. Then this morning, I get up and 2/3 of the maple's trunk is on the ground, in the Cameron St. neighbor's back yard.

How much of that can a tree survive, I wonder? At the ground, the trunk is probably 4-5 feet around, and the one section still upright is less than 2 feet around, and not terribly tall.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

How much of that can a tree survive, I wonder? At the ground, the trunk is probably 4-5 feet around, and the one section still upright is less than 2 feet around, and not terribly tall.

What's left of the tree can probably survive for several years, but eventually bugs and rot will get into the crack where it broke. This happened to two (of the three) old maples at my old place when hurricane Bob strolled up Narragansett Bay. The most damaged tree lived about seven years, and the less damaged about fifteen before my landlady finally had to have them taken down.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

HAPPY TOWEL DAY!

Or rather, Happy Belated Towel Day, as it was yesterday: [link]

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

At least one reputable historian places the martini's birthplace right over in the East Bay. We should totally have an official state cocktail.

There's a plaque. In Martinez. Birthplace of the martini, Joe DiMaggio, and me.

I found a vial of Ephedra root while packing. Can I sell it on the blackmarket for a bunch of money?

Who's psyched to watch Dancing with the Stars?

I'm all over it.

So sorry about the unexpected forced move, Sophia. I hope you find a great place to move to and the logistics are easily managed.

MUCH LUX RIO!

JOb~ma for Wolfram and megan and health~ma for TB's mom.

Kinda wish I watched Alias, now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, about Alias, can someone explain who this Danny is? Thx.

sarameg - May 26, 2005 5:21:43 am PDT #7126 of 10001

Jesse, Danny was Syd's fiancee and then I think she told him about really working for SD6 and they killed him dead. In her bathtub, I think.

I seem to be cycling through unattainable food cravings this week. This morning, it is gorditas (no relation to the taco bell version) and all I have is mozzerella cheese sticks.
