Anne, I could tell you, if you want. I'm sorry, but I didn't tape.

I will tell you (not who) that it pissed me right off. I could be permanently soured.

Edited in case it was spoiling! Didn't think.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Oh, I don't mind being spoiled. Is the possible permanent souring related to the who was killed or how it was portrayed?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

That self-referential quiz is kicking my butt. I keep getting down to 2 wrong, but never the same 2.

Who was killed off. A character I felt was a balancing factor. Still wanna know?

If so, they killed Kate. Or rather, Ari the sexy terrorist did.

I'm sorta over the whole "in the season finale! Who will die!" thing. It's become such a gimmick, without the kind of emotional payoff that it could be. It seems like just a hook, not a devastating blow. Oh sure, still repercussions, but it seems to be less for character development and more for ratings. Of course, the shows I see it in aren't necessarily as invested in the character thing. Anyway. I'm annoyed.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Grr. Amazon shipped my NewsRadio DVDs, and used the address that was on record when I place the order over a year ago, which means it's somewhere in LA.

I had to laugh at SVU when Novak tried to subpoena Rumsfield.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

NCIS:

It seems like just a hook, not a devastating blow.

Yep. Especially since they had five misleads. The HSQ of the actual event was pretty high, but since it happened in the last 30 seconds of the ep. there wasn't any dealing with the immediate aftermath, and I really wonder whether the next season will take up at the same point where they left off.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

NCIS:

Wait, they killed Kate??? Bastards!!!

I haven't seen it yet, but it seems to me it would've been far more effective to have had DiNozzo die of the plague last ep, because it would've been a true shocker.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know that papers have obits written ahead of time, but this is just ... well, their own analogy, I guess.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Because the picture didn't look freaky enough?

If so, they achieved their goal. The only way that picture could be made freakier is if Crispin Glover were walking alongside her wearing a coat made of rats.
